POST 1

What really stood out to me was the fact that good marketing concepts focus on producing high-quality content that inspires people to buy something they did not know they needed. An example of this effort is Procter and Gamble (P&G). Telling your story as a brand is significant if you want to gain customers and target a particular group of people. Furthermore, hiring skilled people is important to make sure the commercial/marketing is successful. Another thing that really stood out to me was the fact that they mentioned Germany in the video. Since I am from Germany, this topic immediately caught my attention. I never really thought that different countries focus on different marketing channels and efforts. I did not know that Germany was known for being a magazine country. However, it is true that we have a lot of publishing companies that are very sophisticated in editorial content and design.My question for the group would be: What do you think is marketing going to look like in 10 years? Is there going to be a New Marketing Era?

What stood out to me is when one lady said that you have to focus on what the consumer cares about and what stands out to them. She stated that creating value for a consumer is easy for anyone to do. It is what stands out to the customer that matters. A content marketer has to create a way of making their mark on each customer. A way of standing out to a customer is by researching human behavior in the selection of people in the targeted market. One guy mentioned that it is not about what you do in a society it is about the view of the customers and their culture. It is about telling a story when doing content marketing. It is about making a story people love and will remember. How far do you think content marketing will spread beyond what it is now?
