Instructions for Paper

The paper should contain all three sections listed below.

1. Section I – Three theorists. Write the past research for each of the selected theorists.

• Theories X and Y – Douglas McGregor
• Principles of Administrative Management Theory – Henri Fayol
• Human Relations Management Theory – Elton Mayo

2. Section  II – Write on the current research for the three theorists you selected in Section I and how the theorists’ theories are being used in organizations today.

• Theories X and Y – Douglas McGregor
• Principles of Administrative Management Theory – Henri Fayol
• Human Relations Management Theory – Elton Mayo

3. Section III – Identify an issue/problem within your organization (place of work) and develop a solution and/or recommendation by applying the best theory of the three you selected in Section I explaining why you selected it for your solution.

The two theorists I want to focus on are Fayol and Mayo for the solution and/or recommendation.

Issue: Knapp Medical Center is a local hospital in Weslaco, Texas. During this pandemic, the Pharmacy Department is facing issues with employee morale and many of them are feeling unappreciated and dispensable. Management is ignoring the employees cries for help and is overworking them to the point where many of them are questioning if they should continue working there or not. There are 25 employees that work in the Pharmacy Dept. and have different schedules. There are times when one worker has to do the job of three because some workers call in sick because they are so overwhelmed. There has been three cases or workers having Covid-19 so they are unable to work and the rest of the workers have to make up for the missing employees.

*Write a minimum of an (8) full page paper that is double spaced and Times New Roman 12 size font. THE BODY OF THE PAPER NEEDS TO BE 8 FULL PAGES.

Only peer reviewed articles can be used.

*You must use a minimum of six references. Make sure you cite and include a reference page using APA format.

*In-text citations should be kept to a minimum. No more than 3 or 4 per page.
