Food Pantry Distribution Analysis
Project Description: The organization is a partial choice food pantry located in a suburban Massachusetts community. Utilizing a partial choice model, clients receive food staples each month, but choose which meats, breads, pastries, dairy and produce he/she desires during each visit. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the organization immediately transitioned to no- and low-contact food distribution methods (drive through pick-ups and home deliveries) to feed community members in need. According to the local Board of Health, limitations of the organization’s physical plant will prevent clients from resuming use of the partial choice pantry even when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Utilizing recommendations from the Board of Health, the organization is seeking a sustainable method of low or no contact food distribution for the community’s vulnerable population.
Project Deliverables/Goal: A proposal containing at least three innovative ways to alleviate hunger, providing either food, or other assistance, to those in need, while following COVID-19 safety precautions. Also, providing recommendations to improve current distribution process while abiding with Board of Health regulations and ensuring sustainability.
Requirement: Essential Components & Instructions
This assignment is completed in two parts based on Project Evaluation and Project Scope.
Part 1: Description of Your Integrated Change Control Process:
Your assignment should describe an integrated change control process. Imagine that you have completed evaluating the project, and it is clear that a change to the scope or budget or schedule is needed, describe the process for drafting the change request, gaining approval for the change, and what should happen once the change is approved. The latter is where you focus on integration. Once the change is approved, what will need to be updated as part of the project plan and documentation?
For this section, think specifically about who should be involved, who reviews it, who approves it, and who implements it and monitors the change. Consider creating a simple process map as a way to visually show the process.
Part 2: Change Request Template:
For the second part of the assignment, include a change request template. You may have one from a previous class or from a past project, or you can search for one. Make sure that it takes into account all the aspects of the process you describe above, so you will most likely need to modify it a bit. Also, make sure you cite your sources.
Consider incorporating instructions and/or examples to guide users in completing a change request.
Be sure to rely on the readings from this lesson as a source of information. You will also find some material in the Gray & Larson text, as well as The PMBOK Guide.
Format
Below are some key guidelines you will want to ensure you follow in both elements of this assignment. Think of this short list as a quality control checklist, along with the attached grading rubric.

• You should include a cover page
• You should format the documents professionally
• You should provide a clear description of the change control process
• You should provide a change request template that aligns to the process (remember to modify to fit your description and cite any sources)
• The document should be free and clear of grammatical and typographical errors
Please be sure to review the attached rubric. It along with these assignment instructions will ensure you have a solid understanding of the assignment requirements.
