Course Project Outline (75 points)

The Course Project Outline is set up in the form of a Quiz, however there is no time limit. Because there is no time limit and answers are automatically saved, students will be able to leave/enter the Quiz as many times as they like during the week. Students will be filling out an Outline, which will be used in the creation of their Presentation. The Outline will include the following:

1. 1. Background:
      1. Why is it named what it is/what is the history of the name?
      2. How long has society known about the selected topic?
   2. Description/details of the topic, such as:
      1. Symptoms;
      2. Diagnosis;
      3. Treatment;
   3. Body systems addressed by this topic.
   4. An explanation of the significance of this topic to health sciences and the future impact on careers in the field, new technologies, and new job opportunities related to this topic.
   5. Details for at least three references used in the research your topic. These can be books, articles in scientific journals, and websites. Images and pictures obtained from the Internet that are used in the presentation must also be referenced.
   6. Explanation of any additional resources you will use to support your research. For example, you may work in a related field and use your expertise or the expertise of a colleague or friend. Interviewing family or friends is also an acceptable additional resource.
