The main determinants affecting economic growth
The objective of this research report is to study the determinants of economic growth for a panel of different countries(Arab World, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, United Kingdom, India, Japan, Ghana, Iran,Islamic Rep, Switzerland). We will explain and summarize the main findings in the empirical literature.
Lab: We will use yearly data for a group of countries to assess among others the impact of foreign direct investment(FDI), education(EDU), Government spending(GOV), export(EXP), inflation(INF), labor-force(LABOR) and unemployment(UNEMPLOY) on economic growth( GDP). Data range from 1995 to 2014( 20 years data).
