Conduct research, using Borland, Kane, and Burton (2014) and reliable professional/academic sources, to identify sports figures (e.g., a professional athlete, coach, athletic director, journalist, etc.) that embody one of the three leadership styles: Transformational, Transactional, and Servant.
Refine your research using the concepts you have learned to clearly identify three people that represent one of the three leadership styles. (Keep in mind that some leaders may display multiple leadership styles. Choose the predominant leadership style exhibited by the person and focus on it.)
Write a 4 to 5-page paper in which you:
Discuss how each person represents the leadership style that you identified. Provide adequate examples to illustrate and reinforce your assertions and opinions about the person’s leadership style. Include at least one direct quotation made by the person that exemplifies the leadership style.
Support your assertions and opinions with APA-formatted citations and references from Borland, Kane, and Burton (2014), as appropriate, and at least two additional references from reliable professional/academic sources. (Note that Wikipedia is not a reliable professional/academic source. Citations found to be from Wikipedia are not acceptable and will result in your paper being returned to you for revision.)
Write a synopsis of the leadership style that you plan to develop, as well as a brief description of how you will develop it, as you advance in your career.
