Formatting requirements and notes:
- Write in the third person – no personalization, EXCEPT in the Commentary section
- Keep it simple – Avoid fancy fonts, tons of photos and graphics that may distract from the content of your work.
- Referencing – Refer to the APA style for formatting in-text and direct quotations as well as bibliographical and footnote references
- Use the questions as guidelines for your research – This product is not a study question exercise. Write this paper as you would any other research project, in complete sentences and well-constructed paragraphs.
- Use headings and subheadings to dictate the flow of your paper. This helps the reader establish a logical process for understanding the material you are presenting.
- Use standard page margins and readable fonts and sizes – Standard page margins should be no more or less than 1” around the page. Readable fonts are a necessity, this is a professional document. Reasonable standard fonts with a size not exceeding 12-point font for the main text of the document.
- Page count maximum for this assignment is 6 pages. Remember that page counts for your Term Paper will not include the Cover Page, References, and Appendices.
Project 3 Assignment Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is to allow students the opportunity to explore some of the current risks and issues in supply chain logistics management. Also, this assignment should challenge students in improving their individual research and business writing skills.
Project 3 Background:
In last few sessions of the course we are wrapping up the course with some of the current risks and issues in operating competitive supply chain logistics programs. Your task is to take one of these issues and provide a document summarizing the issue from three different perspectives – economic/business, political and social. Each side of the argument (position) should be thoroughly researched and a one-page explanation of the issue from that perspective presented. After you have presented all the perspectives you will be allowed the opportunity to provide your commentary on the issue and from your perspective as a supply chain manager determine what course of action you may take in your company (real or fictitious).
