For your final paper and presentation you are being asked to follow up on the comparison you did in the midterm of the two cities based on health outcomes and social and economic factors. From what you have been learning so far, there has been a case established linking health status to socioeconomic determinates, demographics and other factors in explaining the disparities in health outcome.
For your assigned cities, do the following:

- Health Outcome: Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Physical Health, Mental Health and Teeth lost.
- Prevention: Health Insurance, Annual Checkup, Dental Visits, Taking BP medication, Core preventative services for men and Core preventative services for women.
- Unhealthy Behavior: All five measures.

- Compare these health outcomes: Obesity and Premature Deaths
- Social and economic factors: Children in Poverty, High School graduation, Income Inequality, Neighborhood Racial/Ethnic Segregation, Racial/Ethnic Diversity, Unemployment and Violent Crime
- Physical environment factors: Air pollution, Limited access to Healthy foods and Walkability
Explain the link between all these measures, why are they related (i.e. diabetes, obesity and food access and walkability for an example)Your focus on the findings (similar or different health outcomes and link them to the socioeconomic factors you chose in your comparison. Include a conclusion in your presentation.
- Explain why the two cities are different or similar in their health outcomes (socioeconomic, demographics …etc.)
- For the power point presentation, display your data as you see fit (graphs, tables …etc.), the idea is to make the point of differences or similarities or compare both to the national average if they are similar.
You will present your work to the class (Virtually) in a 20 minute presentation, please have your slides limited to 15 to 20 slides. You can record your narrative in power point and upload to canvas. Each of you will be assigned reviewers that will view your presentation and comment on it.
